The gorge
A limestone gate opened by the river.
The Vjosa enters the rock corridor at the town’s edge and leaves it as a plain river. The old road follows the water; springs emerge from the cliff face. The name “Klisura” means exactly “narrow canyon”.

The water

Karst springs are part of Këlcyrë’s identity. Black Water is the only one the official source names — a natural spring, nothing more. The portal says what is known and leaves the rest open.
